Mark Pentecost

Overview

Mark is a director of the firm with 20 years’ experience in employment law, personal injury & litigation having worked for insurance companies before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2014.

He successfully completed the CPE/GDL & Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University before joining the firm in 2012 where he completed his training contract. Mark became a director of the firm in 2018 & is currently also a part time Associate Lecturer in law at Northumbria University.

Areas of expertise

Conveyancing

Mark has extensive experience of residential & commercial property transactions. He is able to successfully assist & guide you through the various processes involved in the selling & buying of property & land including farm/ agricultural and commercial properties.

Employment

Mark leads our employment law department, specifically advising employers on employment law and staff disciplinaries and dismissals and well as employees in respect of settlement agreements.

Commercial

Mark also has experience of advising businesses on partnership or shareholder agreements, business sales, purchases & succession.

Litigation

Mark can also assist clients with many kinds of disputes or litigation matters including debt matters and breach of contract.

Key achievements

Mark has previously been a National Committee and Executive Committee member of the Junior Lawyers Division of the Law Society. He currently forms part of the Steering Committee of the Newcastle Law Society.
